There are various transportation options.

TRAVELING FROM SALVADOR-BAHIA

By air:

  • In July 2001a new Airport was opened in Valença , Bahia. It takes about 35 minutes to arrive at Morro de Sao Paulo.
  • There are direct flights several times a day from the airport in Salvador to the island. The Tinare airport lies on the other side of the island . To get to the houses you need to take a local transport and walk aproximately forty minutes. That makes fllying from Salvador less convenient.
